Function of the clip in coffee packaging
On coffee bags, the closing clip helps fold and re-secure the mouth of the bag. Don’t limit the experiment to just the empty bag. A full package better shows the space left for folding and looks on the shelf. If you have more than one package size, record each size result separately; Don’t assume from the start that one size will fit the entire range.
Reclosing is not the same as barrier properties
The clip is the mechanical closing component of the packaging. It does not determine the performance of the bag layers against oxygen or moisture, the function of the valve or the weld seam. Therefore, a specific freshness time or sealing result cannot be given based on clip selection. These expectations should be considered together with packaging design and related controls.
Final check before order
Once the color, cutting length and method of application are clear, match the approved sample with the packaging code. Re-evaluate this match when switching to a different bag supplier, surface finish or size. Include in your request the approximate monthly consumption and the packaging sizes used.
