Specify which feature will change from the standard product
Requesting custom manufacturing begins with clearly identifying what aspect of an existing product does not suit you. Cutting length, bandwidth, wire structure, coating, color, printing or presentation style are different features. List the desired changes; Make it comparable to the existing product sample or technical drawing.
The presence of an option in a product family does not mean that it can be produced in every size and quantity combination. Manufacturability, sample requirements and order conditions become clear after technical evaluation. Therefore, it would not be correct to specify a single minimum order or delivery time for all products.
Prepare your request file
| Subject | Information to share |
|---|---|
| Application | What is being connected or closed? Add photos/examples. |
| Size | Allocate length, width, wire diameter and required tolerances. |
| Appearance | Specify finish, swatch, print file and print orientation. |
| How it works | Manually type in the application or machine make/model. |
| quantity | Share units/meter unit, initial request and repeat need. |
| Packaging | Describe the roll/cut form, box layout, and label expectation. |
Do not write it as an exact requirement by guessing the missing size. Also mark the points that need to be measured or determined from the existing sample. Thus, technical evaluation can proceed through the right questions.
Don’t just check the color on the sample
The sample is judged by its appearance as well as its actual packaging and use. Binding perimeter, twist allowance, surface scar formation and re-closing expectation can be examined. If the machine is to be used, the feeding of the consumable and the closing order are also included in the evaluation.
The physical swatch and print sample provide a more concrete reference than the on-screen image. Check the print area that remains visible after bending or folding. If a single size is required for different packaging sizes, record the suitability of each size separately.
Match order description with sample
Bring together the approved size, material, finish, color and form in a single product description. Indicate the date or revision of the drawing, if applicable. When the packaging or production line changes, do not assume that the old sample result matches the new conditions.
Collecting price, quantity, packaging and delivery expectations in the same request makes comparison easier. Custom color and cutting guide, sample checklist and offer preparation guide You can complete your information with .
